Trip description
Experience an unforgettable trekking adventure in the High Atlas Mountains and conquer Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 meters. Starting from Imlil, hike through traditional Berber villages, terraced fields, and spectacular mountain scenery before reaching the Toubkal Refuge, where you will spend the night surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes.
The second day is dedicated to the ascent of Mount Toubkal. Crossing rocky trails, mountain streams, and rugged terrain, you will reach the summit and be rewarded with stunning panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains and surrounding valleys. After the climb, return to the refuge for a second overnight stay.
On the final day, descend through the beautiful mountain landscapes back to Imlil before returning to Marrakech. This trek is ideal for hikers seeking a rewarding mountain challenge and an authentic immersion into Morocco’s natural beauty and Berber culture.
