Tassa Ouirgane Tour

A full-day excursion to one of the most beautiful natural destinations in Morocco, the Asni and Ouirgane Valleys, to discover breathtaking landscapes and enjoy an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.

A professional driver will pick you up in the morning from your hotel or riad in Marrakech to take you on a truly authentic journey through spectacular scenery and introduce you to the real Morocco.

Our first stop will be in the small village of Tahnaout to visit an argan oil production cooperative and, if available, the village's weekly market held every Tuesday, before crossing the magnificent Ghiraya Gorges on our way to Asni. Here, you may enjoy a short break to take a camel ride, capture memorable photographs, or simply relax with a refreshing mint tea by the riverside before continuing towards Douar Tassa Ouirgane.

Approximately 5 km before reaching the famous village of Ouirgane, we will head towards a beautiful Berber house ideally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Douar Tassa. Situated at an elevation that offers stunning panoramic views over the small Tassa Ouirgane Valley, this charming location provides the perfect setting to experience local traditions. We will attend a demonstration of Tanourt, the traditional preparation of Berber bread, before enjoying lunch on the panoramic terraces of a traditional guest house while admiring the magnificent views of the valley and the Atlas Mountains.

After lunch, we will meet our local guide for a walking tour that will allow us to discover this beautiful Berber village, as well as the authentic culture and lifestyle of the Berber people who inhabit this region.

On the return journey to Marrakech, we will take the scenic Moulay Brahim road to visit the Kik Plateau and Lake Lalla Takerkoust, where you may optionally enjoy water sports activities such as jet skiing or simply relax with a coffee on one of the terraces overlooking this beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and natural landscapes before returning to Marrakech.
